The 2014 Penn Relays USA vs The World will be broadcast live from Franklin Field in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, April 26 on NBC Sports Network. The broadcast is scheduled to run from 12:30 PM ET to 3:00 PM ET. Check your local listings.

From USA Track and Field: NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) is broadcasting nearly five hours of continuous track & field coverage on Saturday, April 26, starting at 12:30 p.m. EDT with USA vs. The World at the Penn Relays. Track & field fans have the chance to watch Team USA compete in the women’s and men’s 4x100-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay, women’s sprint medley relay and men’s distance medley relay.

Broadcast coverage continues on NBCSN with two hours of the 105th Drake Relays from 3-5 p.m. EDT. Fans can also catch Friday night action in Des Moines on USATF.tv, which will air Drake Relays live from 7:30-9 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 25. Fans can also tune in to Drake Relays coverage on Universal Sports from 9:30-11 p.m. EDT.

USA vs. The World Boasts Impressive Lineup

INDIANAPOLIS -- The 2014 edition of USA vs. The World at Penn Relays promises to be a great one, with an impressive mix of veterans and relative newcomers donning the red, white and blue.

 

Invited athletes on the men’s side include five-time Olympic medalist Justin Gatlin, Olympic silver medalist Leo Manzano, who captured the USA 1 Mile Championships on Tuesday evening, and two-time Olympic medalist and 2011 World silver medalist Walter Dix. Three members of Team USA from the 14th IAAF World Indoor Championships will compete at the event, including Kyle Clemons and David Verburg, members of the 2014 World Indoor Champion 4x4, and Olympic silver medalist Trell Kimmons.

 

On the women’s side, Team USA is led by three-time Olympic medalist DeeDee Trotter, who owns two Olympic gold medals as a member of the U.S. women’s 4x4. Five members from the U.S. team at the 2014 World Indoor Championships will also compete, including two-time World gold medalist Francena McCorory, Olympic gold medalist and 2014 World Indoor 4x4 Champion Natasha Hastings, Monica Hargrove, Lakeisha Lawson and Ajee’ Wilson, who attends Temple University just 3.5 miles from Franklin Field.

 

Invited world teams include Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Caribbean All-Stars, China, Ireland, Jamaica, Nigeria, Mexico, Qatar, Sierra Leone and Trinidad & Tobago. Highlighted athletes featured are Chris Brown (BHS), Dominque Duncan (NGA), Michael Frater (JAM), Regine George (NGA), Natalya Goule (JAM), Ryan Gregson (AUS), Michelle-Lee Ahye (TTO), Kerron Stewart (JAM).
